Strong Pro-T3 sales boost Fujifilm's Q2 WaterAid donation

By Simon Nias Monday, 21 January 2013, PrintWeek

Fujifilm has nearly reached its 12-month fundraising target for the international clean water charity WaterAid after just six months of the appeal.

Fujifilm has pledged a percentage of the EMEA sales of every square metre of its Brillia HD Pro-T3 plate to the charity with the aim of raising €30,000 by March 2013.

In its July-September quarter, Fujifilm raised more than €16,000, taking its total for the first six months to €26,757, just over €3,000 shy of its 12-month target.

Yasufumi Morimoto, senior vice president of Fujifilm Europe, said: “Back in May we set €30,000 as our 12 month target, so the fact that we’ve raised over €26,000 in half a year is an overwhelmingly positive result.

“Fujifilm is highly committed to the environment and we are very pleased to be able to support WaterAid with the donations from our Pro-T3 sales.”
