Researchers conducting the association’s ’2012 Response Rate Report’ discovered that direct mail responses average 3.4 per cent - some way above the 0.12 currently being achieved by email.
This means letters created by printing machines are currently performing 30 times better than digital notes sent out by operators, according to bizreport.com. Continue Reading →

Platinum’s Mark Plummer duly presented the award on stage to deserved winners ‘The Majestic Hotel Team’. The first time he had presented such an award on the company’s behalf and in front of a packed house duly left him a little nervous. After struggling to open the envelope a quick and loud prompt from Janet Street-Porter left him shaking in his boots, a torn winner’s slip finally in hand! and the winners could be announced.

And our iPod winners are….
After the successful establishment of our Platinum ‘social media’ platforms, our competition winners from the April ‘Win an iPod’ competition have been drawn randomly from the numerous entries we received. Read about them here…
We are please to announce as part of our ongoing commitment to reduce our Environmental impact we have now purchased the Renault Kangoo Z.E. fully electric van we trialled, it arrives early September. (and we are very excited).
Our delivery trials reported positives about the little green machine – it did well with the heavier items and even had enough ‘poke’ to get around town with great efficiency. Barry Cooper, our finishing and despatch manager, had the following comments to make: “This ZE Model is ideal for local deliveries with a range of 100 miles, Battery powered you re-charge the van using a normal 3 pin plug. It takes around 7-8 hours to be fully charged, an emissions free vehicle with the added benefit of no road tax! we are pleased with how the trial went and when you think of the big savings on running costs it looks good on paper too”.
Roll on September and keep your eyes peeled for our new addition! You can find out more about the van and its features here: http://www.renault-ze.com/en-gb/z.e.-range/kangoo-z.e./kangoo-van-z.e.-1939.html

As part of our long term Environmental strategy, our despatch department had a weeks trial of the New Renault Kangoo electric van. This is no hybrid vehicle it is dependent on its battery alone! To make sure we could fully test this amazing vehicle our local Renault dealership loaned us the van on a trial basis. We tested it throughout last week with various heavy loads and various members of staff (Large and Small).
